I think that Project Natal fitness games will definitely be a popular genre that utilizes the motion control technology.  Just like the Wii Fit because immensely popular, I think that being able to have real time feedback for how you are working on will be very valuable.  It is like a workout DVD that can see you, talk to you directly, and give you pointers about how you can do something better based on what you’re actually doing.  Whereas the Wii balance board was limited to you standing on it, this will be able to track all of your motions, and see your body type and make adjustments accordingly.

Fighting Games

I think fighting games utilizing this technology will be pretty awesome.  One of the trailers announcing Project Natal featured a boy walking up to a sensei and starting to fight.  Being able to duck and dodge, as well as throw kicks and punches to control videos is a huge reality for a fantasy we all had growing up playing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.  I am pretty excited for these possibilities in Fight Night and other boxing games.

All in all we don’t really know what types of games will really be release for Project Natal, but these games above are pretty safe bets, and will be pretty fun to play once they do come out.

My favorite games are usually in the space genre, so if I can get a racing game set around different planets, or out in space, then I’m in my glory.  I really liked the Star Wars Episode  Racers game for a long time.  Even enough to go and buy a game joy pad to get the best action out of the game.  You can play it with the keyboard, but the results just aren’t quite the same.  The keyboard is just not responsive enough.

These days, as technology advances and games ported to every imaginable platform under the sun, I can get my gaming fix, just by visiting a few arcade sites online.  There are quite literally hundreds of free games to be played online at different websites.  You don’t have to download any software, as they just play in your browser.  It’s something we so take for granted these days.  I remember when I was a kid growing up, and having to go to the local arcade with a pocketful of quarters to get my gaming fix.  As nice as computer gaming is these days, video arcades were kinda cooler.  You could hang out with your buddies, and socialize more while playing games.

Not that I’d ever want to go back to those times   There’s just too much gaming goodness everywhere you turn these days.  And ,there are still a few video gaming arcades around. Our local big move theatre has a bunch o upscale games to play.  They offer something a little different then the regular home gaming experience.  Usually bigger screens, and real bikes or cars to sit in, surrounded by big honkin’ speakers.  Today is really a great day to be a gamer.

There are a variety of toys and games for those children ages two and up.  You can find these at toy stores and on the internet.  Have a look at the official Bob the Builder web site for a selection of toys, games, puzzles, sportswear and specialty items.  You can buy party favors and decorations as well as bathtub toys and soaps in the shape of Bob and his friends.  North Miami Interior Design could use a builder like Bob.

The one toy that most will recognize is the Bob the Builder Activity Bench.  This play area will let your child build and construct their own projects.  The bench has hammers, saws, screwdrivers, and a drill.  The Activity Bench can be purchased for $15.99.  The set will enable your child to be creative and have fun.  There is also an assembly kit from Lego called, Muck Can Do It.  The set is $29.99 and well worth the money for the hours of entertainment your child will enjoy.

A great interactive game is the Bob the Builder Learning Workshop.  The electronic game allows your child to work on projects with Bob’s help.  There is an LCD screen on the house window, which offers your child lessons on spelling, memory and numbers, as well as helping them follow verbal directions.

Another great item is the Bob the Builder Learning Adventure for the Smart Cycle.  This unit plugs into your TV.  The child sits on the cycle and will take part in a series of adventures by using simple controls on the cycle.  The software allows your child to learn about numbers, spelling and matching.  They race and drive through a series of screens, having a great time and not even knowing that they are learning new things.

A puzzle is a great way for your child to learning about matching objects.  Jigsaw puzzles featuring Bob the Builder characters will challenge your child.  You can also find a large selection of games and activities from the Bob the Builder website.  Arcade style games and puzzles will entertain your child for hours and cost you nothing.  Many are played on the internet while others can be downloaded to your computer.

Both play relatively the same games although both have exclusive titles in their arsenal; Sony has Gran Tourino, Motorstorm and Resistance: Fall of man, whilst Microsoft go with the Halo, Forza Motorsport and Gears of War franchises.

Both offer an online method of gaming with Xbox live being seen as the better product.

The deciding factor however is that the PS3 has a built in Blu Ray player and this is surely enough to beat the Xbox in the sales margins.  With a Blu Ray player, the world of High definition movies comes alight and having this new technology included as standard is a big selling point.

If you want a PS3 though, it is going cost you some big bucks, approximately $350 for a 250GB version if buying from Amazon.  It doesn’t have to cost that much though as you can get a Ps3 for free!

There are two main ways that this is achievable, both legal and without any ethical issue.  They are through referral marketing or as a free gift with a cell phone package.

The referral marketing does require a little bit of work;  you sign up through a referral marketing site to complete a free offer with a well known company such as block buster or stamp.com.  These offers normally allow you to try out their product or service for a limited time at no cost to you.  When you have completed the offer you need to get  a certain number of people to sign up for an offer through your referral link, which they too have to complete then you receive your free gift.

The second way is by signing up for a cell phone contract.  In a tight market place, cell phone companies push extra product into their deals to convince consumers to take up their contract.  Obviously this method is only free if you are buying a cell phone contract anyway but it is certainly the easiest method in which to get your self a free PS3.

When you start looking around to buy some colored blank dice, you may be a little confused by many things. First up is the size. Dice typically come in 5/8 inch (16mm), 7/8 inch (19mm) or 1 inch (25mm) sizes. The most common kind of colored blank dice are the 5/8 inch size in typical colors (red, blue, green, yellow, black, etc.). The system includes the Learning Adventure game. Other games are sold separately. The Learning adventure contains such activities as Letter Creek, Number Fields, Math Mountain, and Shape Lake. Children can ride through these adventures or can simply choose to race through the game with cars.

Child obesity is a great concern to many parents. The number of overweight children is at an all time high. The Smart Cycle may be a way to help combat that trend and put the children on a path to a healthier lifestyle through exercise.

Super Mario Bros. Wii is a popular title and is a wonderful throwback to Nintendo’s flagship franchise. Look for it to stand out on the shelf in a bright red box. It is an easy pick up and play title that will not fail to please.

Be sure to check out Mario Kart Wii. It is very fun to jump online and race other competitors and it excels as a one player game as well.

Punch-Out!! is an excellent boxing game and is highly addictive and adaptable to each individual player’s skill level.

You are bound to jump out of your skin while playing Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. It’s cast of zombies and other creeps will keep even the bravest member of your family up at night.

Wii Sports Resort is a great family title and party game. It boasts a dozen different types of games to play including archery and sword fighting. Even the most finicky person could find something to like about this game.

An outstanding title that is off a lot of people’s radar or top ten wii games list is the ultra violent MadWorld. It is presented in black and white except for when the protagonist gets his hands on the game’s many enemies and the screen is subsequently spattered in bright vivid red. This game is definitely adults only.

For the adventure of a lifetime, check out The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is an epic and dark tale that once again pits the hero Link against the forces of evil.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a frenetic fighting game that has a seemingly limitless and recognizable cast of characters. It is a very fun multi-player experience.

Madden NFL 10 puts you under center and in the middle of the action. Play as any of your favorite of the 32 NFL teams and chase your dream of winning the Super Bowl.

Super Mario Galaxy is a highly imaginative turn for everyone’s favorite plumber. Just don’t expect to beat it in one sitting. This game is as vast as its name implies.

If you purchase just one of the above listed games, you are sure to be satisfied.  You’ll also wet your appetite for the new list of top 10 Wii games for 2010!

I must also say, that there are more people these days coming over to my side of the fence, what with computer games showing up in all kinds of different gaming hardware.  We’ve got games on our cellphones, games in our smartphones, games on our laptops, games on our digital cameras, gaming consoles like Xbox, PS3, and the Wii.  We’ve even got lots of choices for handheld gaming devices like the PSP, the Nintendo DS, and the Apple Ipod Touch.  It seems that every group of gaming platforms, has their fair share of fanboys claiming theirs is the best of the best.  While they all have their pros and cons, there is one thing the console gamers rarely have to worry about.  That one thing is hardware.

Sure, the console gamers may upgrade their hard drive occasionally, but that’s about it.  If your a PC gamer (I am) either on a desktop, or a laptop computer, then it seems like a never ending battle of hardware upgrades to be able to run the latest games.  There’s the video card upgrades, overclocking of CPU and GPUs, the computer memory upgrade, the cooling system upgrade, and even the monitor upgrade.  It never seems to end.  But, it’s all part of the fun I think.  Getting that extra little bit of juice that allows you to run the latest and greatest games at the highest graphic settings is a great feeling.  I always feel like I’m getting a little ripped off, if I can’t run my games at the highest graphic settings.

Then, of course the are all the case modders out there.  While case modding, may not be absolutely necessary to run your games at their peak, it does have a certain cool factor.  It’s amazing, to see what other guys and gals come up with in their case designs.  I should devote a post to it sometime in the near future.  In the meantime, enjoy all those Christmas games your about to get.

A Bakugan video game called Bakugan Battle Crawlers has made it to the leading seller amongst kids video games which means there will be a new addition to every little boy’s “santa” list this year. The game has become one of the biggest hits this holiday season for Ninetendo DS.

Bakugan Battle Crawlers was released back in October as a regular edition and a Collector’s edition and through the fourth quarter it has become number two on the bestseller’s list. The video game is much like the strategic game as it deals in fighting against another Bakugan in order to claim victory. The video game allows children to become a part of the Bakugan universe they have become a great fan of and take part in different battles to become the best. The Bakugan balls roll out onto their cards and transform into warriors ready to fight just like the actual Bakugan toys.

The most famous Rare Bakugan is Spin Master’s 7-in-1 Maxus Dragonoid and has become one the hottest toys of 2009. There are seven pieces which fit together to become one Bakugan which becomes the ultimate monster. Each piece can be used by itself however to be played individually in the game. Spitarm, Brachium, SpyderFencer, Grafias, Dark Hound, Grakas Hound, and Neo Dragonoid all come in the pack.

Bakugan has become the number 1 toy for every little boy this year. However, due to its popular demand many people are have a hard time finding them. You can still find many on the internet though.

Bakugan is the new Pokemon which was most famous back in the 90’s.
