If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines and haven’t bought a Nintendo Wii console yet, now might be  time to reconsider.  Wii console deals are everywhere, prices are lower, and Nintendo is offering a variety of options that were not available in the past.  If you are one of the hold outs, here are three reasons why you might reconsider and buy a Wii now.
Prices Are Lower Than Ever
Nintendo dropped the price of its Nintendo Wii from $249.00 to $199.00.  While for some families $200 might still be quite an investment, consider that Nintendo now includes some games, specifically Wii Sports Resort, and they offer the Wii MotionPlus, a $25.00 value, included withe the Wii console.  In addition you now can choose whether to buy a black Wii console or white.  You have more option than when the Wii was first released in terms of price.
More Accessories Than Ever Before
Another factor in making a decision to buy a Wii is that today, there are more accessories available than when the Wii was first released.  There are many more games, controller accessories, with more on the way than when the Wii first came out.  This means there is a variety of game play for virtually any gamer.
The Wii Is More Than Just Games
Unlike some other game consoles, the Nintendo Wii has options available even for people who are primarily not interested in playing video games.  The Wii fit for example, with its balance board and fitness exercise games, makes the Wii a fun way to stay in shape.  Another new feature is Netflix streaming video.  The Wii now can also broadcast Netflix videos directly through the Wii console to your television.  Being able to watch movies on demand makes the Wii a true all around entertainment center.
As you can see if you\’ve been waiting to buy a Nintendo Wii the timing couldn\’t be better.  With all of the acessories, color options, and entertainment features of the Nintendo Wii console, now is really a great time to buy.

It seems a bit strange to be that only about 5,500 people a month are looking for used Wii games.  I mean, here we are in the middle of a recession, and hardly anyone is looking to get bargains on what many would considered non essential items.  I mean we really don’t need new Wii games to survive, but it appears that about 15,000 people are looking for new Wii games.  FYI, the 5,500, and 15,000 are coming from Googles AdWords tool. Buy comparison, “play racing games online” gets 2400 searches per month. Read more

Mario Kart Wii running on the PC using Dolphin revision 2680. System used: + E8400 @ 4GHz + 4GB Ballistix DDR2 RAM + XFX GTX 260 216 Black Edition This video demonstrates just how well this game can be emulated with a decent CPU & GPU (not to demonstrate game play) as most of the videos on YouTube are low quality cam / cell footage. As you can see, this game suffers from some rather minor problems but is still playable. For added enjoyment I would recommend you use an Xbox 360 controller …
