A Better Exercise Game Than Wii Fit
Filed Under Wii Fit | Leave a Comment
I surprised it took so long for a gaming company to come up with a game that was about exercise and healthy living. Well, at least about exercise it is. The Wii fit was one of the first to jump into this category, although the Dance Dance Revolution game could also lay claim to this niche. It’s a good thing I suppose, but there has been some criticism of how effective Wii fit really is. I was a bit of a skeptic also, until I read a few success stories about people losing in the vicinity of 40 pounds just by using the Wii fit.
I suppose you could call me a bit of a convert now, as I do believe that anything exercise program is good, as long as you commit yourself to it. I’ve done some pretty tough ones in the past myself. Thanks Tony Horton! Which, is kind of what made me skeptical of video workout games. But when I thought about how serious I took some of my workouts, I realized that even if you only worked out with a Wii, that as long as gave it everything you had, it’s bound to work. The other key success that these video game workout fanatics employed was a good nutrition plan.
You do really need to fuel the body properly, if your going to get any benefits from a workout routine. On a video game or otherwise. Sports nutrition supplements, Maximuscle Promax Diet, and PhD Pharma Blend are all good starting points for maximizing your workouts. The key I found to getting good results, was usually to limit the bad carbohydrates from my diet. You know which ones they are. All that lousy sugary and processed food stuff.
I read another great idea that I like for working out, that I may try with a video game. Some guy moved his treadmill in front of his Xbox, and started playing games like Halo while climbing up a steep incline. I like that idea, as Halo is more my kind of video game. There something about playing those fast paced action games, that gets you motivated and moving more anyway. The old fight or flight reflex. It’s got to be more fun than just watching one of the hundreds of lousy television channels I get with my cable. At the very least, if my waist line doesn’t improve, my video game scores should.

Everyone’s been talking about the Wii Fit and it’s exercise program benefits. Plenty of shots out there, have to be shaking their heads and wonder why these people don’t just put their money into a real gym membership.
Certainly, there may be some truth to that but if you haven’t tried the Wii Fit, and you probably don’t understand some of the benefits you may be missing. First of also more fun than running on a treadmill, and secondly it’s a lot easier to walk into the room, the to drive down to the gym. I must confess to spending a little time them at the gym. And, I know firsthand how hard it can be to motivate yourself to get there are regular basis. What with the frantic lives lost in the lead these days, it can be pretty easy even for the diehards to occasionally skip your regular exercise routine. Will make the mistake though, of assuming that a Wii Fit workout can even come close to true cardio workout on the latest high-tech exercise machines at your local gym.
But not everyone, can get on those machines whenever and however they want. How about grandma and grandpa? How often are they able to get down to the local gym and run the track, play squash, and get on the latest high-tech exercise bike. For people like that, and be a lot more convenient just to have a Wii Fit in their home
That’s not to say that the Wii Fit is only good for grandma grandpa. Plenty of younger folks can benefit as well. I’ve seen real fitness trainers using a Wii Fit as part of their workout. You’ll be able to Chicago that has something in the 120 or so arranged is not unreasonable. Hundred 20 so beats per minute sure beats lying on the couch and playing the latest version of Halo. At to make at even little more fun, feel free to do the exercises in your pajamas. Just try doing that on a local gym. Failing to consider, as expensive monthly charges a gym membership. A Wii Fit is a one-time charge.
Don’t forget, the primary focus demographic of Wii Fit busy kids. Though not as active as they used to be, and this provides a great opportunity to change that. Moving your whole body will play again, is way better than just flipping your finger digits. Sure, it may be like taking them to exercise but there exercising nonetheless.
