Hard to believe, that a lawnmower could instill such a strong following of buyers, but for some reason the Cub Cadet line of tractors and lawnmowers seem to do just that. At least the ones that were built in the early days of the company. These days, they seem to use a lot more plastic, and cheaper parts in the construction. But, a lot of the older models seem to last for a lifetime. These machines are actually good for a lot more than just lawn mowing. With the right set of attachments, that can plow snow, dig post holes, haul a big load, cut grass, and basically do anything a small bulldozer could do. Of course things have changed a lot since the days when International Harvester built the first Cub Cadet. Now they have all different kinds of models that are suited to specific purposes. If you do use your cub cadet for lawn mowing, make sure you pay special attention to the blades of your Cadet. Anyone with a large piece of property, or farm would find a multitude of uses for this versatile little machine. They’re not just lawn mowers, as that’s good, as the original Cub Cadet was intended to be an all purpose work horse for big property owners and small business alike. While MTD, the corporation that owns the brand, has specialized machines for different niches, they still build the basic chore equipment model, that’s good for all sorts of jobs.
