In this day of laptops, iPhones, portable DVD players, and PSPs, it may sound a little silly to look for other ways to spend your time traveling in a car over long distances with family or friends. But, sometimes the old ways are the best ways. And sometimes, all your batteries die, and the power inverter takes forever to charge your gadgets up again. If this is the case, then I have the perfect solution for you. You can play car bingo. Or plane bingo, boat bingo, train bingo, or rickshaw bingo. Whatever your mode of transportation happens to be at the moment. Yes, the well prepared traveler, always comes prepared with a some miniaturized bingo card sets. It’s a great way, to get everyone’s nose out of their screens and have some realy human interaction. It can be fun and educational as well. Really, it can be. You will want to have specialized bingo cards just for the occasion, or you could alternatively make your own cards. Here’s a few ideas. You could have a roadside item themed card. You know, instead of all the numbers on a regular bingo card, you replace them with items you would see while driving down the road. This is where it can be handy to make up your own cards. Typical items would be stop signs, cows, bridges, airplanes, construction signs, barns, flowers, or churches. Of course, if your traveling through Death Valley, you may want to modify your card a bit. Say cactus’s, rocks, more rocks, big rocks, red rocks, little rocks, scorpion, etc. You get the picture. Part of the fun, could be making up the card. See, it’s educational and fun.
