   prof of the ring it is an overheating problem i had just gotten Cod4 back when/ so i invite my best friend over we play a 6/half hour run on online and campaign and i get the red ring of death so i jump off the couch and turn that thing off wait till 12:31 thats 5 hours turn it back on and it works fine and ive never had the ring since also dont move your box not your xbox but your wire with the black box on it while xbox is on dont turn it over that may also cause the red ring

   To fix it all you gotta do is solder a wire back to its original postion.

   That means you have a wire problem. Its not a problem with the xbox.

    I usually play for 1 hour and let it cool for 2 hours. I’ve been doing that for 1 year and it still works fine. Hopefully I won’t get the Red Ring of Death.

    i got red ring about 2 times and all i did was shut it off let it cool down and watch tv and the next day everythin back to normal

    SYMPTOMS
    All four lights on the Ring of Light flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console.

    CAUSE
    This issue may occur for one of the following reasons:
    • The audio-visual (AV) cable is not connected correctly or plugged into the Xbox 360 console.
    • The console is not detecting the cable.
    This issue does not occur if the AV cable is plugged incorrectly into a television, a stereo, or a VCR.

    so, if thats the ring of death, wtf is wrong with my 360, its got the red rings on the front but its a full circle, not a 3/4, any help?
